The Undergraduate Marketing programme is designed as an amalgam of basic theoretical, methodological and applicative disciplines. It equips the students with knowledge and skills from a spectrum of vital business functions as well as with a basic understanding of micro-, macroeconomics and business environment. The programme is based on the three-year Bologna degree system which prepares students for employment in any marketing or business area. The first two semesters consist of general economics and business courses, whereas in the next four semesters students focus on specific courses in the marketing area. The courses are aimed at stimulating interaction and teamwork, promoting creative thinking, building analytical skills, and developing business ethics and social responsibility. As such, the programme facilitates students’ successful entry into a business sector and provides a firm foundation for further studies at the master’s and doctoral levels at the FELU or other universities. After completing their studies, students have many career opportunities in Marketing Research, Advertising, Brand Management, Organizing Events, Public Relations, etc. However, it is expected that students will upgrade their knowledge by enrolling in any of our masters programmes, which are also offered in English.
